UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor II took place this past Saturday, January 23, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In the second fight of the Pay-Per-View card, Makhmud Muradov took on Andrew Sanchez in a middleweight bout, where he defeated Sanchez by TKO due to strikes in the third round.

Following the loss, Sanchez was handed down a lengthy medical suspension due to a nose and leg-injury suffered in the fight.

The full list of medical suspensions was released Monday by MixedMartialArts.com, revealing that Sanchez received a 180-day suspension. However, per the report, if Sanchez’s pending nasal and left tibia/fibula x-rays come back negative, his suspension would then be reduced to a minimum of 30-45 days for suffering a loss via TKO.

His opponent, Muradov, was handed a light 30-day medical suspension for a “hard bout” with 21-days no contact.
