The lightweight bout between Bobby Green and Jim Miller has been scratched from UFC 258 due to a backstage collapse by Green following the official weigh ins this morning.
Damon Martin of MMA Fighting was first to report, after confirming with UFC officials, that the fight between Green and Miller has been removed from UFC 258.
UFC President Dana White confirmed during a press conference Friday that Green collapsed backstage after he weighed in.
“Bobby Green just collapsed back there,” White said. “Doctors are looking at him. So they’re trying to rehydrate him right now.”
“Gotta be,” White said when asked if it was due to a bad weight cut. “I don’t know. Don’t quote me on that. I don’t know. But I’m assuming.”
