Brian Kelleher (21-11 MMA, 5-4 UFC) is now set to fight UFC newcomer Kevin Natividad (9-1) this weekend at UFC Vegas 9.
Kelleher was originally supposed to fight Ricky Simon for this weekends fight card, but Simon was pulled from the fight this past Friday, Aug. 28th, after one of his coaches tested positive for Covid-19.
Kelleher will be facing Natividad on less than a weeks notice.
Natividad took to Twitter to announce his UFC debut.
“A little short notice,” Natividad wrote. “But we’ve been working hard, and we ain’t done yet. We just getting started.”
