Early morning on Tuesday, March 24, Conor McGregor called upon Ireland’s President, vice admiral, garda commissioner, chief medical officer, and more. To call for an immediate full lockdown of the country, in an effort to stop the rapid spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, and to allow the country an opportunity to get ahead of the curve.

“I want to say that while we are all currently debating a full lockdown, I feel that we must,” said McGregor. “Any time spent debating this is needless time from the clock. I know a good, tough fight when I see one, and we have one on our hands now.”

McGregor went on to provide specific instructions in what he feels the government of Ireland should do to reduce the spread.

“True lockdown must begin, and it must begin now,” said McGregor.” A lockdown together. A lockdown united. We must close our airports. We must close all non-essential business. We must cut all non-essential travel,” he added. “It is time for a full lock down, and we are ready.”

The orders McGregor is calling for may seem steep, but have proven effective in other countries, where the virus originated.

“These methods are stringent, but necessary, and have worked in China, and Hong Kong,” said McGregor.

He concluded the heart felt message by calling for unity across the globe, and asked for god’s blessing on us all.

“Let’s go Ireland. Let’s go rest of the world. Lockdown united. Together we stand. God bless us all.”
