UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor II took place this past Saturday, January 23, at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was handed down a lengthy medical suspension Monday due to a leg-injury that he suffered during his main event bout against Dustin Poirier.

The full list of medical suspensions was released Monday by MixedMartialArts.com, revealing that McGregor received a 180-day suspension. However, per the report, if McGregor’s pending Tibia/Fibula X-ray comes back negative, his suspension would then be reduced down to a mandatory 30-45 days for suffering a loss via TKO.

Poirier, who finished the fight pretty handedly in the second round, didn’t suffer any significant injuries during the fight except for a few cuts and bruises on his face.

Poirier will serve a seven-day medical suspension for “mandatory rest.”
