UFC 249: Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson, taking place on April 18 just got a whole lot bigger.

“We’re trying to build the baddest card that’s ever been done in the history of the sport,” said UFC president, Dana White, when he “hijacked” ESPN reporter, Brett Okomoto’s, Instagram live, earlier this morning.

During the short conversation, White also broke news that he is looking to add the Francis Ngannou vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik fight on the that card.

“Francis (Ngannou) is one of the guys we’re looking at (adding to the card) too,” he said.

Okomoto followed that up by asking if it will still be the same opponent for Ngannou, to which White replied, “yes.”

The fight between Rozenstruik and Ngannou was supposed to take place this weekend, but it was cancelled, due to unfortunate circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak.
