Henry Cejudo sent shots Conor McGregor’s way, after McGregor posted a training video of himself hitting the pads.
In the tweet, Cejudo told McGregor that Justin Gaethje would finish him in one round if they fought.
“And that’s actually what the problem is! You should be working your your takedown defense. Justin Gaethje would destroy you in round one,” said Cejudo.

This comes after there being rumored fight talks between Gaethje and McGregor for the better part of a month now. With no confirmed fight yet, it appears Cejudo was trying to kickstart some beef between the two, to get the fight going.
It is likely that he is trying to help Gaethje because Cejudo and him are both signed to the same manager, Ali Abdelaziz, owner of Dominance MMA. Abdelaziz also manages McGregor’s bitter rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
A little over two months after his most recent fight against Donald Cerrone, McGregor still doesn’t have a fight lined up. If he plans to proceed with his season as planned, he will need to get a fight signed soon to allow himeself proper time for a training camp.
