Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal has a message for his former friend and training partner, Colby Covington, ahead of their highly anticipated main event bout for UFC 272 on March 5.
During an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour on Wednesday, Masvidal wrapped up his interview by delivering an ice cold message to Covington, stating that he’s going to ending him.
“I got you,” Masvidal said to Covington through The MMA Hour. “I got you, b*tch. He knows one thing about me that if you don’t take me out like how (Kamaru) Usman took me out, I’m just gonna keep coming. I’m just gonna keep coming.
“You can wrestle as much as you want. I’m gonna elbow you in the face. I’m gonna get back up. I’m gonna punch you in the stomach. I’m gonna punch you in the knee, and you’re gonna melt.
“I don’t know if it’s gonna be in the first round. I don’t know if it’s gonna be in the fourth round. But you’re gonna f*ckin’ melt like you always have. And I’m gonna touch your body harder than I ever have. And when I have you at that breaking point, I’m gonna smile and I’m gonna look at you right in the f*ckin’ face and I’m gonna tell you just how I did at the top of this thing, I got you.
“I’m gonna f*ckin’ end your ass and then everybody’s gonna have a nice little celebration. We’re gonna celebrate this guy out of existence for like ever, you know.”
