Two days after his big win in Saturday’s co main event for UFC on ESPN 11, Josh Emmett took to twitter to reveal a long list of injuries that he suffered from the fight.

“Most people would of quit or looked for a way out! I will NEVER QUIT! 1. Complete ACL tear, 2. MCL Sprain with partial tearing, 3. Bakers cyst rupture, 4. Focal impact fracture of femur on the lateral, 5. Chondral defect (cartilage) on tibia literally matching impact area,” Emmett said on Twitter.

“When I say I’m willing to go through HELL and suffer any amount of paint to get my hand raised, I mean it!!!” He added.

Despite hyper-extending his knee less than a minute into the fight, Emmett was still able to earn up a decisive win by unanimous decision over Shane Burgos.

Emmett, 35, doesn’t have time to waste. As some would say, he’s in the fourth quarter of his career, so hopefully he can have a quick recovery with no setbacks, and get back to competing his way to a featherweight title shot.
