UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, who, before today had been dealing with negotiation issues regarding his next title defense, took to Twitter to let fans know who he sees as the rightful No. 1 contender.
The champ started by blasting Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, after Diaz went on a rant of his own over Usman signing to fight Gilburt Burns at UFC 251.
Usman refused to actually say Diaz or Masvidal’s names, instead he referred to them as “Your Bum Ass” and “Said Guy.”
Usman then made it clear that he sees Burns as the rightful contender to challenge him for his welterweight championship next.
“Burns is a true martial artist and not all talk,” said Usman.
UFC 251 is set to take place on Sunday, July 12, at UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates.
