Kevin Holland is dropping down to welterweight.
Holland announced through his Only Fans on Monday that he has signed to fight Alex Oliveira at 170 pounds at UFC 272 on March 5.
Up to this point, all 13 of Hollands fights with the UFC have been at middleweight.
While Holland previously competed at welterweight, the last time he competed at that weight was in 2017 when he lost to former UFC fighter, Curtis Millender, via unanimous decision.
Holland has been hinting at a move down to welterweight for months now, especially after his last fight against Kyle Daukus in October, which ended in a No Contest due to an accidental head butt in the first round.
