Kevin Lee has found a new home.
Former UFC interim lightweight title challenger Kevin Lee has signed a new multi-fight deal with Eagle FC.
Ariel Helwani was first to report after confirming with multiple sources.
Eagle FC, owned by former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, is expected to launch their own 165-pound division, of which Lee will compete in.
“I’m the best one in the world at that weight,” said Lee at the promotions kickoff press conference on Wednesday.
Lee is expected to debut on March 11 with the opponent still to be determined.
The signing comes just two weeks after Lee was released from the UFC following a loss to Daniel Rodriguez in his last fight.
