Former Bellator lightweight champ,Michael Chandler (21-5 MMA), has officially signed with the UFC.
According to UFC president Dana White, he announced earlier today on ESPN’s SportsCenter, that Michael Chandler has signed with the UFC, and that the promotion plans on having him serve as a replacement fighter for the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje fight at UFC 254 in Abu Dhabi, Oct. 24.
Chandler, 34, made his name in the Bellator cage where became a three-time lightweight champion, defending the title six times. He holds wins over Benson Henderson, Eddie Alvarez, and Patricky Freire.
