In UFC Brasilia’s main event between Kevin Lee and Charles Oliveira, Oliveira won via guillotine choke in the third round.
Following the tap that came from Lee, he immediately tried to continue fighting, after the referee had already came in to stop the fight and Oliveira had released the choke.
After the fight, UFC BMF champ, Jorge Masvidal, immediately took to Twitter to berate Lee for his effort in trying to continue the fight after tapping out by claiming that he didn’t in fact tap seconds before.
“You should be cut for this bitch move. Tap and try to continue? One of the lowest things you can do hoe ass bitch,” said Masvidal.
Masvidal didn’t stop there when it came to dissing Lee for his post-fight antics.
“First bitch move: miss weight. Second bitch move: tap and try to continue. Disrespectful to the sport and the lowest thing you can do,” said Masvidal.
It has been rumored that Masvidal will receive the next opportunity to fight for the welterweight title against current champion, Kamaru Usman.
Although the fight has not been officially announced or agreed to by either fighter, Dana White said earlier last month, following an altercation between the two at Super Bowl radio row, that he plans to have the title fight take place in Las Vegas, during UFC international fight week.
