The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the medical suspensions for UFC Vegas 46 to mixedmartialarts.com on Thursday, revealing that the two fighters who participated in the main event could be out for quite some time due to injuries suffered in their fight.

UFC Vegas 46 featured a featherweight bout between Calvin Kattar and Giga Chikadze at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bout was an instant classic and will likely be a front runner for fight of the year as 2022 progresses.

Kattar, who defeated Chikadze by unanimous decision, suffered a nasal fracture in the fight and could be out until July, unless he can get cleared by a ENT doctor.

Chikadze, who endured over a hundred significant strikes to the head, received an indefinite suspension by the NAC and is required to have an MRI and see a neurosurgeon within the next two weeks.

The rest of the card was able to avoid any serious injuries for the most part.
