Las Vegas – Saturday’s middleweight main event for UFC Vegas 47 is now official.
The main event between Top 10 ranked middleweights Jack Hermansson (8) and Sean Strickland (9) was made official this morning after both fighters successfully weighed-in at 185.5 pounds.
Featherweight Steven Peterson missed weight by three pounds for his featherweight bout against Julian Erosa and the two are now set to compete at a catchweight. Peterson will forfeit 30 percent of his purse to Erosa for the weight miss.
This now makes two-consecutive weight misses for Peterson in less than a year. Last June, he weighed in at 148.5 pounds for his featherweight bout against Chase Hooper, which resulted in him defeating Hooper by unanimous decision.
