Las Vegas — This Saturday, UFC Vegas 49 features a catchweight bout between Islam Makhachev and Bobby Green at 160 pounds. The co main event will be between middleweights Misha Cirkunov and Wellington Turman.
Makhachev was originally supposed to fight Beneil Dariush, however, he was forced to withdraw from the fight due to suffering ankle injury nearly two weeks before the fight.
One notable matchup on this card is a lightweight bout between Arman Tsarukyan (17-2) and Joel Alvarez (19-2). Tsarukyan is currently 4-1 in the UFC with his only loss coming to Islam Makhachev. Alvarez is also 4-1 in the UFC with all four of his wins coming by finish.
